A scan tool (also known as a "code readers") is really a laptop that's connected for your vehicle's engine to identify problems. The Autosnap AS809 JP Scan Tool attaches for your vehicle utilizing a data plug and, following the vehicle is switched on, receives a number of codes sent in the vehicle's computer. These codes may be used to determine what's wrong using the vehicle or, at the minimum, where the issue is occurring.

1

Turn the automobile off.

2

Connect the scan tool for your vehicle's data plug, while using appropriate adapter if required. The information plug is usually situated underneath the steering column around the driver's side from the vehicle.

3

Switch on the automobile, then switch on the VCS Super Auto Diagnostic Tool.

4

Browse the code that seems around the display from the scan tool.

5

Open a Internet browser on your pc. Navigate to OBD-Codes, AA1Car Trouble Codes or OBDII Codes" (see Assets).

6

Scroll lower or click to grow links in line with the code(s) displayed within the Auto code reader. If while using OBDII Codes website, click to choose an automobile manufacturer in the drop-lower menu, then enter in the code and click on "Research DTC Information" to show code information.
