Totally reset the Shifting Solenoid on the Chevrolet S10

The shifting solenoid on the Chevrolet S-10 pick-up is made to regulate once the transmission changes. This solenoid is area of the electronic transmission control system, and it is controlled through the powertrain control module, or PCM. The PCM actuates the shifting solenoid if this determines that the upshift or downshift is needed. Once the PCM senses an issue with the solenoid a treadmill if it is related components it stores a trouble code in the memory and fires up the "service vehicle" light. Once the codes are removed in the PCM the solenoid is instantly totally reset.|Autocom CDP Pro

Change the truck's transmission into first gear (manual) or park (automatic). Switch off the engine and hang the parking brake.

Turn the ignition to the "ON" position try not to re-start it. Connect an Autel MaxiDAS DS708 tool towards the vehicle's diagnostic data port situated underneath dashboard around the driver's side.

Energy around the scan oral appliance choose "PCM" in the primary menu. Choose "Transmission" in the PCM sub menu. Choose "Obvious all current and saved DTCs." DTC is short for for "Diagnostic Trouble Code."

Disconnect the can tool in the vehicle and begin the engine. Verify the "service vehicle" light is this is not on.
